How Multiple Neat Centers Are Solving the "Bowling Alley" Effect

As meeting rooms get bigger, the distance between remote participants and in-room teams often grows—literally. We call this the "bowling alley" effect: a long table where the people seated at the far end look like distant, pixelated figures to those joining remotely.
The latest update for the Neat Center addresses this head-on with a massive leap in scalability.

Expanded Multi-Unit Support The biggest change is the new ability to daisy-chain multiple units to cover these expansive or complex spaces. Rather than relying on a single 360° companion camera, you can now officially pair two Neat Centers with your primary front-of-room device.
Pushing the Limits (Beta) Have an extra-large boardroom or a tricky U-shaped layout? Neat is also rolling out a beta capability that allows you to test a third Neat Center. This ensures that even in the most complex environments, audio and video coverage remains uniform.

The Goal: Total Meeting Equity This expansion isn't just about adding more hardware; it’s about ensuring that the person sitting 20 feet away is seen just as clearly as the person sitting 5 feet away. By bridging the gap with multiple centers, Neat is making sure every seat at the table is the best seat in the house.
