Lightware’s GEMINI GVN is a 1Gb AV-over-IP extender family designed for modern AV environments, emphasizing scalability, flexibility, and quick deployment. As a virtual matrix system, it enables seamless switching of audio, video, and USB signals, all centrally managed through the Matrix Management Unit (MMU), eliminating the need for individual endpoint configurations.

Supporting HDMI 2.0 with resolutions up to 4K UHD @ 60Hz, GEMINI GVN offers transmission over CAT cables (up to 100 meters) or fiber optics (up to 10 km), with full support for HDR, HDR+, and Dolby Vision. Advanced EDID Management, RS-232 control, and USB ports with KVM support ensure high compatibility and versatility for a wide range of devices.

Dante-enabled variants allow audio integration with the Dante network, supporting two-way audio streaming via HDMI or analog inputs and outputs. The system is also HDCP compliant and supports DHCP for simplified network integration.

Operating on a 1G Ethernet network, the devices are powered via PoE (TX) and PoE+ (RX) and consume only ~10W. In line with Lightware’s green policy, no power adapters are included, and packaging uses paper-based materials to reduce environmental impact.

• Analog audio support (LPCM stereo) with selectable direction (input or output)

• Offers a RS-232 port

• Support the distance up to 100m (328ft) between the transmitter endpoint and Network Switch (Cat5e)

• Supports full USB2.0 over IP

• Supports USB K+M (keyboard and mouse) over IP
